PipeCom Achieves Inductive Automation Ignition Certified Integrator Status
PipeCom is pleased to announce that we have achieved Certified Integrator status with Inductive Automation, the company behind Ignition, one of the most widely deployed SCADA and industrial automation platforms in the world.
What Is Ignition?
Ignition by Inductive Automation is an industrial application platform used to build SCADA systems, HMI interfaces, MES solutions, and IIoT applications. It is used across oil and gas, power, water, manufacturing, and other critical infrastructure sectors. The platform is known for its unlimited licensing model, its web-based deployment architecture, and its flexibility in connecting to virtually any industrial device or database. Organizations like major pipeline operators, refineries, and energy producers rely on it to monitor and control their operations in real time.
What the Certification Means for Our Clients
Achieving Certified Integrator status places PipeCom on Inductive Automation’s official Integrator Search, a directory that operators and end users consult when they are looking for qualified firms to implement Ignition solutions. It also means our engineers have been formally tested and verified, not just trained, on the platform.
For clients operating in oil and gas, pipeline, and midstream environments, this carries real weight. When a SCADA system is responsible for critical measurement, alarming, or control functions, the qualifications of the team implementing it are not a formality. Certified Integrator status is Inductive Automation’s formal verification that PipeCom’s engineers have demonstrated the technical competency required to work on the platform at a professional level. It also means PipeCom has direct access to Inductive Automation’s technical support resources, co-marketing programs, and ongoing training credits to keep our engineers current as the platform evolves.
Where This Fits in Our Technology Stack
PipeCom already holds certifications across multiple industrial automation platforms. Adding Ignition Certified Integrator status further reinforces what has always been a core part of how we operate: we are platform agnostic. Our clients work in complex environments, and our value comes from having the depth of experience to work across a wide variety of software platforms and technologies, rather than being tied to any single vendor or ecosystem.
What Comes Next
This certification marks a starting point, not a finish line. Inductive Automation’s program has additional levels above Certified, including Gold and Premier, each requiring more engineers with advanced credentials and a growing track record of successful Ignition deployments. We are committed to advancing through those levels as we deliver more Ignition projects for our clients across Canada, the United States, and Latin America.
If you are evaluating Ignition for a new project or looking to upgrade an existing SCADA environment, we welcome the conversation.
